Application Analysis
The technical service specialists carefully review the submitted application. They check the completeness of the provided information, its compliance with the requirements of the Geneva Agreement and current legislation. Any discrepancies or missing data are identified, and the applicant is sent an additional request for information
Contract Conclusion
Upon a positive result from the preliminary review, a contract is concluded. The contract outlines the rights and obligations of the parties, the procedure for conducting tests, timelines for completing the work, service costs, and other terms of cooperation
Vehicle Type Approval
In accordance with the contract terms, the necessary tests for the vehicle are conducted. A technical report is prepared based on the test results, documenting all collected data and concluding whether the vehicle meets safety requirements
Drafting the Official Type Approval Notification
Based on the test results and the technical report, the technical service specialists prepare a draft notification of the official type approval for the vehicle. The draft is composed in strict accordance with the requirements of the Geneva Agreement and includes a detailed description of the vehicle, test results, and the conclusion of the expert commission
Draft Notification Review
The prepared draft notification undergoes internal review. After successfully passing the internal review, the draft notification is sent to BelGISS (Belarusian State Institute of Standardization and Metrology) for approval
Draft Notification Approval
The draft notification approved by BelGISS is sent to Gosstandart (State Committee for Standardization) for final approval. Gosstandart makes a decision to issue or refuse to issue the notification of official type approval for the vehicle
Draft Notification Finalization and Approval
Once the draft notification is approved by Gosstandart, BelGISS enters the relevant information into the Register of the National System for Confirmation of Compliance of the Republic of Belarus. This register serves as a centralized database containing information about all vehicles that have undergone the certification procedure in the country
Issuance of Notification
Upon a positive decision by Gosstandart, the applicant is issued an official notification of vehicle type approval. This document confirms that the vehicle meets all necessary safety requirements and can be legally operated in Belarus and Russia, as well as in other countries that have signed the Geneva Agreement
